I haven't wrote a webcomic focused post in a while, so I figure it's the perfect time to bring SUBNORMALITY, a comic series that is described by the author as "comix with too many words", to your attention. Want a webcomic that actually has some substance? Look no further. The author (Winston Rowntree) (note: not really the author's real name), really gets people. I can't count the number of times I've thought "GET OUT OF MY HEAD" while reading his comics. He somehow manages to pin down human uncertainty and optimism simultaneously without coming across as flippy floppy. His comics aren't black and white, but grey. KINDA LIKE LIFE ITSELF, RITE GUYS? He gets that while humans can be messy and strange, we also have a lot in common and share a remarkable amount of experiences and thought processes that connect us as well. I dare you not to delve deep into his archives and go on a binge reading spree. Be warned, though, some of these babies are lengthy, so get comfy.
Take a peek into the life of a bubbly, sometimes pissed off 23 year old dominant young lady living in Montreal.

A Look at "SUBNORMALITY" - Return of the Webcomic Post

WEBCOMIC LOVE #2
![]() |
| *fans self* is... is it hot in here all of a sudden? |
Let's talk about yaoi. Now, it might not be all your guys' cup of tea, but I like it so you'll just have to bear with. For those of you who aren't aware, "yaoi" is a Japanese term meaning "boys love" and it pertains to any form of entertainment centering around, you guessed it, boiz foolin' around and fallin' in LUV ♥ (or, even better, LUST). This is one of the first pages of HamletMachine's supa dupa sexy webcomic Star Fighter. It's a sci-fi tale centered around two guys who are assigned to be partners at a futuristic militaristic boarding school of sorts. Cain is the "fighter" (AKA the top) and Abel is the "navigator" (AKA the bottom). Partners are expected to live together, eat together, train together and are even assigned code names referencing brothers from fictional works through the ages. They are expected to be a unit and to work together as one, y'know? So, you can probably guess where it goes from there. It's all about forbidden desire, ~longing~, INTERNAL CONFLICT, and (best of all) SEXXXY sex scenes. Now, if you're not into watching two young hot guys cock teasing and fucking, then this might not be for you (but really, though, who ISN'T into that?) but if you ARE into that well... clear some space in your schedule today because you're going to get sucked into this. And just a heads up, it gets pretty dang hot and heavy at times, so perhaps read it in private, unless you *wanna* get hot and heavy yourself in public : )
(And since I posted an earlier comic, the artwork is a *little* rough around the edges, but as the comic goes on HamletMachine gets into her groove and the artwork tightens up.)
Now, go forth and read, minions!! I COMMAND, THEE!
xo,
Miss Misty

WEBCOMIC LOVE
| This looks a lot like my Saturday night "getting ready" ritual |
Hey guys! Do you like webcomics? You do? What a coincidence, so do I! What about fucked up webcomics? Me too! Man, we sure have a lot in common. Simon Hanselmann's "Megg Mogg and Owl" comics are just the right amount of hilarious and fucked up, with a cast of characters that worm their way in your heart. It kind of worries me how much this comic speaks to me and how much I can relate to it, because all the characters are always within spitting distance of losing their shit or on the verge of a drug induced mental breakdown. Oh well. We are who we are, right guys?! Anyway, here is the link to his Tumblr where you can find a huge chunk of his work FOR FREE, you guys! And who doesn't love free stuff?
---> Girl Mountain
(And, if you love his stuff as much as I do, he has his book "Life Zone" available to buy on spacefacebooks.com. Okay, done gushing now.)
